Ray knew that the entertainment industry was known for chewing people up and spitting them out, but he ignored this fact and decided to follow his dreams. He packed up his pick up and pulled out of his parking lot with the destination of Nashville on his GPS. Although his dusty brown guitar was pretty ugly, the melodic twang sound it made when he plucked the strings made up for its appearance. Ray also used his own experiences when writing his lyrics. He had his heart broken into a million pieces and felt very blue
for a long time. He put these emotions into his
songs, and it made his music stronger.
