If we are to integrate data from thousands of “unknown” sites, how do we guarantee the “quality” of the data and the results of the various queries?

Operating systems store a variety of data in tabular format, which can be “viewed” as relational tables.
Create an OS-DB-based kernel that provides the foundation to both the OS and the DBMS.
Have all data reside in the DBMS (rather than the OS file system).
