3 What is Click-on Mentoring
Mentors are university students and are matched with high school students (mentees) from regional schools Mentors and mentees talk about aspirations and post school options Mentees hear from mentors about how the mentors got through high school and transitioned to university Mentors can share what a typical day looks like at university, what is fun about university and what’s not so much fun Most importantly, mentees are able to explore different choices for their future with the mentor without judgment

4 Things to talk about I don’t know what to do after high school, am I doomed…??! What did YOU do after high school? What goals did you have? How will my decisions, now and in the future, affect my goals? Where can I get some practical guidance on: - Subject choices? - University / TAFE? - Job hunting? What resources are out there and where can I find them?

5 Your role and responsibilities
Be online on time Let your teacher or mentor coordinator know if you are going to be absent Use this opportunity to explore options for your career and education Be patient Talk to your teacher if there are any problems or if you feel uncomfortable about anything
