DHCP do two round-trip packet exchange. Why?
They assume existence of multiple DHCP servers.
How many environments with .11 has multiple DHCP servers?
For instance, if AP has DHCP relay function…?
Router Advertisement (IPv6)
Broadcast from router. It’s one-way.
It’s easy for .11 to convey them.
Need to provide framework to piggyback information for them into our FIA frames

AP can knows both MAC and IP addresses of clients.
AP implementation can solve this problem.

FIA can also help upper layers by providing framework to piggyback some data for upper layers.
