LEADERSHIP ACTIVE DUTY INSTALLATION SARC CAN: Provide Commanders Toolkit training in conjunction with MRE-514 by SJA. Screen, train and assist your command UVAs with certification. Provide training and work with your Command SAPR POC to assess your command level SAPR Program and SAPR Binder are inspection ready Assist you with the SAPR portion of your Command Climate. INSTALLATION SARC AND UVAs CAN: Provide advocacy to victims of sexual assault. Explains your reporting options and benefits/limitations of each option. Provide assistance with Expedited Transfers. Ensure that you know your Victim Legal Counsel (VLC) and your rights. Provide on/off base resource information. (NOTE: Intimate Partner sexual assaults will be referred to Family Advocacy)

FAMILY MEMBERS CIVILIANS INSTALLATION SARC CAN: Provide advocacy to victims of sexual assault over 18. NOTE: Under 18 and Intimate partners sexual assaults will be referred to Family Advocacy Explains your reporting options and benefits/limitations of each option. Ensure that you know your Victim Legal Counsel (VLC) and your rights. Provide on/off base resource information. INSTALLATION SARC AND UVAs CAN: Respond to ON-BASE reports of sexual assault. Explain the Unrestricted Option as required by OPNAV C. Provide information about on/off base resources. Explain on/off base confidential resources of support. Factors to be considered: Where did the incident happen; who is the offender and are YOU a TRICARE beneficiary?

REMEMBER UPCOMING EVENTS/TRAININGS The definition of sexual assault includes groping to rape. NEVER dismiss a report of a offense of groping. The impact of sexual assault, whether it is groping to rape, is different for everyone. Contributing factors include: upbringing, culture, religion and betrayal of trust to name a few.
