4. Disembodied existence
Literally the idea that we are able to exist in some form without our bodies. But is this concept coherent?
Qualia –Consciousness what makes this?

5. What evidence do we have for disembodied existence?
By its very nature, arguing that we have evidence of this phenomena is very difficult.
Near death experience, first documented by Dr Ray Moody who studies lots of patients from operation. The similarities of accounts between patients, plus detailed descriptions of items rooms when unconscious, lead him to believe in the soul. However could this just be chemicals in the brain?
ESP and mediums, H.H Price concludes after his study ‘not be too sure that you will not continue to exist as a person after your physical organism has died’.

6. The Chaffin Case
A North Carolina farmer who died in 1921 appeared in a dream to one of his sons four years later to reveal the location of a missing will. This will was validated by a court and led to his farm being shared equally rather than just being left to one son. Is this true or false?
