3 Last Class You also practiced using the sequence adverbs first, next, then, after that and finally. You used sequence adverbs to describe how to make coffee, brush your teeth and make toast.

4 How to Make Toast: Put the steps in the correct order using sequencing adverbs
Get a slice of bread Cut the toast in half using the knife Place bread in the toaster Take the toast out of the machine being careful not to burn your hands Place the toast on a plate Push the lever to lower the toast Spread a little bit of the butter on the toast using a knife Plug in the toaster and switch it on Wait a few minutes for the toast to pop up out of the toaster

6 How to use a vending machine
1. Insert a coin that is equal to how much your selected drink costs. 2. Pick an item by pushing the button of the item you want. 3. Your selected item will fall into the opening at the bottom of the vending machine. 4. Place your hand in the opening at the bottom to receive your selected item. Avoid inserting your hand too far in, for it will get stuck. 5. Get your change if given, from the opening at the bottom. 6. Enjoy your snack!

Insert your card into the slot of the ATM Choose your language Enter your PIN Choose the withdrawal option, Enter the amount to be withdrawn and press enter. Take cash out of the cash slot Choose if you want a printed receipt of the transaction

To make chocolate chip cookies you'll need some materials and certain conditions. Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted 1 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup white sugar 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 1 egg 1 egg yolk 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

10 How to make chocolate chip cookies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In one bowl mix flower, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, beat the butter, then add the brown sugar and white sugar mix. Add the vanilla and milk and mix. Add the eggs and mix again. Then add the flower mix, and mix all the dry ingredients together in one huge bowl. Place ball sized pieces of dough on a cookie sheet. Put the cookie sheet into the oven for minutes. Take out of oven and let the cookies cool on the cookie sheet for 3-4 minutes. Use a spatula to take the cookies off the cookie sheet Enjoy your cookies.
