2 Maria: The CPCRN is a great and proud network
Maria: The CPCRN is a great and proud network. And when we work together, we can accomplish anything. Matt: But the failed policies of past CPCRN leaders have put us in a deep hole. We simply cannot afford another six months of the Bastani/Sorenson regime. Maria: That’s right, Matt. That’s why the next six months are going to be different.

3 Matt: You know Maria, a lot of people are talking about change these days. Let’s tell the folks what we mean by change. Maria: We need to get serious about providing evidence-based cancer control that benefits all Americans. We’ve got a four-point plan to do it.

4 End our dependence on foreign evidence.
Maria: First, we’re going to end our dependence on foreign evidence. Matt: Maria, did you know that Americans consume 25% of the world’s cancer control evidence but produce only 3%? That means we’re dependent on rogue nations and dissemination dictators who hate us.

5 Maria: A Fernandez/Kreuter administration will end that.

6 End our dependence on foreign evidence.

7 “I can see Mexico from my backyard.”
Maria: This is a clear difference from the past administration. What qualifications did they have to lead us through these global challenges?

8 End our dependence on foreign evidence.
Matt: That’s not enough.

9 - Provide e-mail relief for working researchers.
End our dependence on foreign evidence. - Provide relief for working researchers. Matt: We will also provide hard working researchers with relief from CPCRN s. Maria: If you’re a researcher receiving 5 or more s per day from CPCRN, your rate will go down under a Fernandez/Kreuter administration.

10 Provide e-mail relief for working researchers.

Well it’s time for the investigators to take responsibility for this proposal, and get it submitted! That will happen in a Fernandez/Kreuter administration.

13 Matt: So for those of you out there who’ve lost hope, those who are tired of doing more but getting less, those whose luggage was lost at the LA airport, I tell you, change is coming! Change is coming! Change is coming! Maria: I’m Maria Fernandez, and I approved this message.
