2. Maria: The CPCRN is a great and proud network
Maria: The CPCRN is a great and proud network. And when we work together, we can accomplish anything.
Matt: But the failed policies of past CPCRN leaders have put us in a deep hole. We simply cannot afford another six months of the Bastani/Sorenson regime.
Maria: That’s right, Matt. That’s why the next six months are going to be different.

3. Matt: You know Maria, a lot of people are talking about change these days. Let’s tell the folks what we mean by change.
Maria: We need to get serious about providing evidence-based cancer control that benefits all Americans. We’ve got a four-point plan to do it.

Maria: First, we’re going to end our dependence on foreign evidence.
Matt: Maria, did you know that Americans consume 25% of the world’s cancer control evidence but produce only 3%? That means we’re dependent on rogue nations and dissemination dictators who hate us.

Maria: This is a clear difference from the past administration. What qualifications did they have to lead us through these global challenges?
