1 English 10 - 3/16/15 Write on a topic of your choice.
I always wanted to be somebody, but I guess I should have been more specific. Lychnobite – one who works at night and sleeps during the day. Goals – Work on Letter from the Birmingham Jail to develop analytical reading skills. Homework – Don’t forget to study for Vocab # 25.

2 English 10 – 3/17/15 How much of a surprise is it to find out what Boo Radley is really like? What is he really like? How has the story prepared the reader for this discovery? The sooner you fall behind, the more time you’ll have to catch up. Grammaticaster – a mean verbal snob. Someone that becomes offensive when they hear a grammar error. Goals – Work on outlining the argument from the “Letter.” Homework – Complete Outline on your own.

3 English /18/15 In Chapter 31, how does Scout make sense of an earlier remark of Atticus’s as she stands on the Radley porch? Lead me not into temptation -- I can find the way myself. Ecodoomster – one who forecasts ecological calamity. Goals – Put together an outline of “Letter from…” using the work of all the groups. Homework – Finish the outline on your own if you don’t get it done in class.

4 English /19/15 Who does Atticus think killed Bob Ewell? Why does Heck Tate insist that Ewell’s death was self inflicted? Everyone has a photographic memory. Some people are just out of film. Cockalorum – a very confident little man. Goals – Clarify our outlines, review part 7. Look at assignment sheet and revise. Homework – none.

5 English 10 - 3/20/15 Five minutes to prepare for vocabulary #25.
Age doesn’t always bring wisdom. Some times age comes alone. Agelast – One who never laughs. Goals – Successfully complete vocabulary #25. Check Dailies. Begin work on essay? Homework – None.
