2. tiny bio My name is Jahnae Rivers. My favorite media is a computer.
If I could meet anyone, alive or dead, it would be Beyoncé.
The reason I was interested in Library Leaders is because there aren’t many fun and exciting things to do after school.

Being in Library Leaders gives me a positive environment to be in and it offers exciting opportunities and chances such as being apart of “The Oracle” and going to different libraries, such as the Morgan Library. Going to the Co-op City Times newsroom was also helpful.

4. LIBRARY LEADER MISSIONS
My Library Leader Missions from this point on are as follows:
To redo my schools library reference section.
Design 2 new school bulletin boards.

5. LIBRARY LEADER MISSIONS (cont.)
Service teachers by being a “Weebly Wizard” and helping organize classrooms libraries.
Finish all 5 Editions of “The Oracle” for this school year.

7. THE FUTURE ME…
In the future, I see myself becoming a Marketing Manager. A marketing manager is someone who creates campaigns so that companies can sell products.
The reason I feel I will be successful is because I am very creative. In order to do this job, you must be able to know what people want and to present it to people in an appealing way. You also need to be a hard worker.

8. Thanks to the library leaders
The Library Leaders has helped me inch closer to my goals in life in the following way: I have developed a better creative mindset, since being in Library Leaders, and I am growing into a leadership role as one of the editors of the school newspaper, The Oracle. In addition, to that, being in Library Leaders has helped my writing skills grow.

9. Why Libraries matter to me
For me a library means “the brain” of a community. A library is a public place where people come to study review, listen, read etc. I can check out books, community activities, and movies. I can also use their technology to better connect to ideas and entertainment. Without libraries people would resort to the Internet for projects. Libraries should feature literature, books and movies. Libraries give information from different points of view, which means they are not as biased as some of the information online.

10. MY MASTERPIECE
I serve as the 7th grade editor of school newspaper, The Oracle.
My masterpiece will be to see that I train someone to succeed me in this capacity.
