SNAP dollars will be automatically deposited to a benefit account that you can access using an Electronic Benefits Card (EBT Card).

8. Just like a debit card
The EBT card makes it easy to use SNAP dollars to buy groceries. It works just like a debit card and you can use it at most grocery stores and participating farmers’ markets. When you’re ready to pay for your food:
Swipe the card at the same terminal you would swipe a credit or debit card.
Choose EBT as your payment method (instead of debit or credit).

NOEP stands for the Nutrition Outreach Education Program. I’m a NOEP Coordinator and my job is to help you find out if you may be eligible to participate in SNAP. I will work with you through the entire application process to ensure you get the maximum benefit you are entitled to receive.
