6. Modernization of National Payment System infrastructure
Closed Telecommunication Network has been set up and implemented within AZIPS in parallel with SWIFT network;
Settlements with foreign currency operations have been enabled between participants in AZIPS, along with the national currency;
A new feature of direct debit has been created in LVPCSS;
Second reserve center infrastructure of National Payment System has been set up, with real time information exchange between Main Center;
Certification Center has been created within Central Bank in order to ensure information security in National Payment System;
Interbank Card Center has been created for efficient domestic card operations environment.

14. Government Payment Portal in numbers
In 2017, 36,5 mln payment transactions with the value of 2 077,4 mln. Manat were carried out in GPP.
Average daily volume and value of payments were 120 thousand and 6,7 mln. Manat, respectively.
More than 465 of the total 521 services offered by participants for collection of payments, are government services.
