Changes in median value of urine albumin excretion (UAE) during the treatment period.
Changes in median value of urine albumin excretion (UAE) during the treatment period. Comparisons of log-transformed UAE were made by repeated-measure ANOVA. Log-transformed urine albumin/creatinine ratio (UACR) decreased significantly between day 1 and day 7 in all subgroups (*P< vs UACR on day 1). Although log-transformed UACR at baseline and on day 7 was correlated with baseline renal function (†P< vs the group with eGFR <45 mL/min per 1.73 m2), it was not correlated with the amount of change in UACR (tested by multivariable ANOVA). eGFR indicates estimated glomerular filtration rate. Distribution of urine albumin excretion (UAE) during the treatment period.
Distribution of urine albumin excretion (UAE) during the treatment period. The prevalence of normo, micro, and macroalbuminuria was compared using extended McNemar test (P<0.0001). UACR indicates urine albumin/creatinine ratio. Satoshi Koyama et al. Circ Heart Fail. 2013;6: Copyright © American Heart Association, Inc. All rights reserved.
