Outlast is an Indie horror game and is a first- person survival game.

3. BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Outlast was created by Red Barrels and was first released to the public on September 4, Later being released to Xbox One on June 19, Outlast has a prequel named Whistleblower and a second game released this year on April 25, 2017

4. OPINION STATEMENT
Outlast is the best horror game because there are many jump scares that get your heart beat going and it has many different elements. There are different levels you can try and once you complete the game there are another two that you can go and try.

5. REASON ONE
As you enter the game you catch on too things pretty quick, as you use your camera to help snoop around in the dark. It gives you a sense of vulnerability, everything is out in the open and someone can just appear out of nowhere!!

6. REASON TWO
The jump scares are amazing!! A help note would appear at the top of your screen to let you know what you should do when something happens. You could hide in a locker or under a bed if needed. The musical chorus will let you know if you are in danger or not.

7. REASON THREE
Outlast is very well made giving off a spooky vibe as soon as you start. It lets you crawl and run just so you can stay out of harm's way. As you get in more depth of the game you begin to see many different characters.

8. COUNTER ARGUMENT
Many people don’t want to play this game because they believe it is too scary or it’s not much of their time. Once you play you will be so into you can’t stop playing until you beat it.
