Welcome to 8th PJHS
We would like to all welcome you to the school year with us – your 8th grade teachers! Our plan is to keep you as informed as possible about what is going in our school – both in the classroom and with the library, clubs, PTO, and other opportunities for parents and students. You can expect a newsletter each month to help keep you informed!

Opportunities for you to get involved at PJHS. – we want everyone to be involved in something! Plan to attend informational meetings the first week of school and get plugged in. Here are your options:

Each month the 8th grade teachers all choose a Tribal Leader for their classes.
We focus on students that exemplify the behaviors and expectations of an overall good student. We will highlight those students each month in our newsletter. Encourage your child to stand out for their good character, positive attitude, work ethic, and just how they treat other people – from other students to faculty and staff at school. We notice!
