Florida Department of Health Mandates all regulations Provides reimbursements Performs annual audits Regulation/Requirements Schools 50% F/R Enrichment Program Attendance logs each day with student names Mark State of Florida Supper Program is Regulated by the Florida Dept. of Health A simple process to qualify for supper 50% or more of the students enrolled at the school must qualify for Free or Reduced Meals There must be an enrichment program that occurs after school such as tutoring or another educational program Attendance logs must be provided each day of meal service including student names

5 schools football teams Menu 257 meals served Serving lines in cafeterias 2016 – 2017 School Year 132 schools Over 11,000 suppers served per day Serving times start 10 minutes after the last bell in 98% of schools (staffing reasons) Multiple service methods used Jen Pilot We have strong ties with the Athletics Dept. in Orange County and reached out to the to begin piloting supper. Using the video you just watched as inspiration, it wasn’t a hard sell. We onboarded 5 schools’ football program to include freshman, jv & varsity teams who also provided tutoring and health education as part of their practice. We served everyday of practice and on game days during the season which was approximately 257 meals per day. Currently 146 out of 150 school that are eligible serve supper.
