1 Emotion Versus Emotionalism
Among some, there is undue emphasis placed on outward displays of emotion(s). In response, many are fearful of showing any emotion(s), whatsoever. Expressions of emotion are NOT inherently bad. Expressions of emotion are appropriate, at times. When expressions are completely lacking, some may wonder, “Where IS YOUR Compassion?”

5 Where Is Your Compassion?
It is appropriate to express your emotions, at times (Eccl 3:4). Anything that dishonors God, puts Christians in danger, or causes them grief are worth feeling/expressing emotion. We must not confuse emotionalism, with spirituality. Some may lack emotion, because, you’ve grown cold?

6 Revelation 21:4-5 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away." 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are true and faithful." (NKJV)

7 Revelation 14:10-11 … he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."
