39 Scholarship

40 You have to be a great essay writer to get a scholarship.
Not so. Often, it is more about what you write than how well it is written. Whether you follow the instructions and address the essay question is often more crucial to your success than how eloquently you write.

41 I'm a Top Student, So Scholarships Will Come to Me
Few students get full scholarships explore other options available Ministry of Education bursaries Student loans The more you have going for you, the more you'll probably be awarded, but that doesn't mean you can sit back and wait for the money to roll in.

42 You should apply to as many scholarships as possible to "beat the odds"
applying for scholarships is not a gamble, a “numbers game” or a contest. You should apply only for those scholarships that you would be well suited for, and that you stand a good chance of winning.

43 Only "A" students get scholarships
It’s true…..good grades are very important But grades are only 1 way that students are measured and evaluated. large corporate scholarship programs, in particular, make it very clear seeking motivated, energetic and well-rounded applicants who know how to do more than just write reports and take tests..

44 Most scholarship awards are small and not worth the effort of applying.
What is small? $500? If you win 7 or 8 scholarships that range from $500 to $1,000, you could pay for a good deal of your first year in university/college.

45 Scholarships Require a Glamorous Talent
Being a high school football or basketball legend or the Mathlete certainly helps, but most students don't fall under that category. Perseverance, researching what’s available, filling out endless forms, and getting those forms to the right place at the right time leads to scholarships, too. Determination might not be the most glamorous talent in the world, but it works!

46 Scholarship applicants need to have a long list of extracurricular/volunteer activities.
Its about quality, not quantity. most winners distinguish themselves by the devotion they have demonstrated to a particular activity or activities NOT by the sheer quantity of their involvement.

50 Who has an email address that look like this?
Consider the kind of IMPRESSION your address makes….What does it say about you? You might what to create an account that uses your name And use that for contacting PSI’s and scholarship providers
