8 Discrepancy in the number of students between Korea and the US is because Korean Ministry of Education only counted higher education people. No middle school or high school. But US counted all F-1 and other VISAs

11 South Korea in the US The third ranks for the number of over all students coming to study in the US. Only China and India ahead The highest number of students coming to the US for studying per capita. Mostly for higher education: Bachelor’s and master’s. December 2015
