30 Aalto University Code of Conduct - greetings from the lawyers 

Any misconduct or dishonesty will be addressed by the university.

31 Academic year ACADEMIC YEAR: Academic year runs from the beginning of August to the end of July Teaching from September to the end of May 5 teaching periods Retake exam dates (2 days/month) Academic calendar

To avoid overlaps in course timetables, follow this schedule! However, the study system in Aalto is flexible: generally programmes give students quite a lot of freedom to draft their own study plan (specialisations, optional studies etc.) In the end, students are responsible for scheduling the studies themselves By selecting courses from other departments and other schools of Aalto as electives, students can specialize more: product development, management, sustainable engineering… Career paths: researcher, engineer for the industry, entrepreneur etc. Each student will make a personal study plan (HOPS) where the content of the programme is confirmed
