2 Guitar Gods Guitar Gods were/are the guitar players that formed Rock n’ Roll. It released racial tension due to the fact there were different races who played the guitar. Jimi Hendrix was the 1st guitar god before all the others such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Randy Rhoads, Slash, Eddy Van Halen, and B.B King.

3 The Facts His career started to take a jump when he started to play for Tina Turner, Little Richard, and the Isley Brothers. In 1966 he went to England and became the talk of Britain taking over the charts, and creating one of his best albums “Are You Experienced Jimi Hendrix is considered the greatest & first “Guitar Gods”. His career all began when he was enlisted in the US army in He was injured from a parachute jump and began his own group with Billy Cox called the “King Casuals” while stationed in Fort Campbell, Kentucky.”

7 The Conclusion Guitar gods slowly started to fade away after the 80s. There are some still alive, but there are no more emerging in Rock n Roll today. I believe that the guitar gods like Jimi Hendrix had an influence on all genres of music, not only Rock n Roll. Not only did he influence people through his music, but his style and attitude also influenced people to become more peaceful. “When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace,” said by Jimi Hendrix.
