6. 5 th November On the 5 th November when Guy Fawkes was looking after the barrels and waiting to light the fuse he was found by the guards.

10. Fireworks! Fireworks are set off to celebrate.

11. Keep fireworks in a closed box. Stand well back. Never go near a firework that has been lit. Even if it hasn’t gone off, it could still explode. Never put fireworks in your pocket or throw them. Children should always be supervised by an adult around fireworks. Light sparklers one at a time and wear gloves. Put sparklers in a bucket of water to make sure they are out! Never give sparklers to a child under five. Keep pets indoors. Follow the Firework Safety Code
