Many people in England learned how to play instruments and sing songs

5. The Theater England loved plays
1580: Open air theaters are made. The rich could afford seats that were covered by roofs, the poor stood in the pit
Plays were performed in the afternoon for the lighting
William Shakespeare: Famous playwright who took ideas from English and Roman histories, and also from Italian folk tales
