Created within IPHAM in 2013 Modelled on the Driscoll Graduate Program (DGP) in the Life Sciences “... expand opportunities for students and trainees, enhance educational content and program format, assist in the creation of new programs, report on novel graduate education methods and approaches, and elevate the reputation of the Northwestern University as a destination for novel, rigorous, and relevant graduate education and training in the Health Sciences.” Brought together four (4) existing master and certificate programs, a PhD Program, and pre- and post-doctoral training programs

Disability Policy Research Fellowship Background
One in five adults in the US, more than million people, have some form of disability. Needs of people with disabilities are complex and call for specialized research. Health services research (HSR) can identify strategies for improving health and function, reducing health disparities HSR can also be used to inform federal and state laws and regulations that affect the lives of people with disabilities.
