2. Practice!.
The main thing to become a professional musician is to practice,practice,practice!!
Use your left brain as the mechanic, and use your right brain as the creative one. (they are both necessary)

3. Listen analytically with your ears
Learn to use your ears skillfully to transcribe solos, licks and tunes .
Play allot on the guitar and get guitar lessons before looking at guitar tabs.
Don’t look at guitar tabs without not even knowing how to hold the guitar.

4. Mentors Learn from older and experienced musicians
Examples are uncles, aunts, cousins, etc
In my case it would be my uncle and my cousin because they both love music and have guitars.

5. Different style
Even though your mentors have a different style of music, you should still try learning from them.
Try thinking that “music is music”.

6. Every step.
Getting guitar lessons is actually the best step to go through to get better at guitar.
Practicing is another good step to go through, it helps allot!
Get in contact with some professional musicians to help you out.
