2 Simple Machines There are 6 simple machines. They are: Incline Plane
Wedge Screw Lever (3 classes of levers) Wheel and Axle Pulley Incline planes: a slanted surface (ramp). Wedge: a moving inclined plane. Screw: a spiral inclined plane

3 Lever is a bar, board or circle that pivots about a fixed point called a fulcrum
First Class Lever: Fulcrum is located in the center between the effort force and resistance force. Second Class Lever: Resistance force is between the fulcrum and the effort force.

4 Lever is a bar, board or circle that pivots about a fixed point called a fulcrum
Third Class Lever: Effort force between the fulcrum and the resistance force.

5 Simple Machines Wheel and Axle: a lever that rotates on a circle.
Pulleys: a lever that rotates around a fixed point with the use of a pulled rope.
