Shoeburyness is in Essex, three miles from the centre of Southend-on-Sea. Friars Baptist Church is in North Shoebury, a housing estate of about 5,000 people. Friars said goodbye to transitional minister Stuart Woodward in November, and are now in the process of calling a full-time minister.

Pray for wisdom and discernment as they move forward. Stuart’s interim ministry has left Friars in a very good place. The congregation were sad to see him leave but grateful for the blessings he brought, so join in giving thanks as well as praying for the next steps as they seek a new minister.
