11 The value of other currencies
1. How many Dollars can you get for £0.10? = $0.16 2. How many Euro can you get for £1.00? = €1.42 REF 1B: Click and the dollar will appear followed by the question and then the arrows and then the star around the number and then the answer. This occurs for each note. 3. How many Rupee can you get for £5.00? = ₹1.42

12 How much do different foods cost in other countries?
£0.65 = $1 £0.64 REF 1B: click and the milk will shake, the dollar table will appear, then the arrows will appear and then the star and then the answer. This happens for the Euro and Rupee too. = ₹15 £0.15 €1 = £0.70

13 Your friend is off to France next week, he has £25 spending money…
Q. Which currency will he need to exchange his pounds for? A. Euro Q. How many Euro will he get for his £25? £10 = €14.25 £20 = €14.25 x2 = €28.50 REF 1B: Use this slide for Lower Key Stage 2 pupils if they need support getting to the answer.
