Flood in the Sorth of Vietnam: Applied the flood inundation map to warn the duration of flood transmission and inundation for following actions:
- Evacuation in depth and damage area.
- Storage of food, medicine and necessary goods.
- Building the safe places for children during flood season for most vulnerable areas.
- Havest crop
- Protecting the fruit-tree and densely populated area by embankment.

Fishing boats in the sea that come back or find shelter or escape from storm-effected area; do not determinelly permit fishermen in the boat; arrange the plans to respond to the storm
Ensure the safety of peoples in low land, estuary, coastal area and aquaculture area.
Execute measures for safety of dike system, structures under construction
Evacuate the hourseholds in high risk of landslide, flashflood
