2 |NAga fireball festival|
Bang Fai Phaya Nak is also known as Naga Fireball Festival ("Naga Fireball Festival in Nong Khai."). It's a Thai festival celebrated in the northeastern part of Thailand. It is located in the Phon Phisai distric and in the Nong Khai province ("Naga Fireball Festival in Nong Khai."). The fireballs normally appear at night and come in various sizes. These fireballs shoot up to the sky from the end of the maekong river (Arnold, Amanda.). (Jutarut, Weera.)

|history| The Phayanak is the king of Naga who lives in a town under water called "Meung Badan" (เมืองบาดาล) On the day of the Buddha’s visit to preach his mother on heaven, he visit our world so Buddhist host an event to show their respect along the Mekong river. It was believed that when the Phayanak knew this, he spit fires from his mouth to celebrate also which leads to the legend until today’s time. (Thai Dragon Or King Of Naga Statue. )

It's religious It's still a mystery of how this fireball come out of the water every single year around the same time.
