7 Status of Sri Lankan urban planning  Sri lanka has a great urban planning history from the ancient age.  Now there are four urban complex in Srilanka with the criteria of population and population density of particular complex. Those urban complex are  colombo,kaluthara  Jaffna  Galle  Kandy  These complex were build according to a urban planning manner.but the community in these complex are face on following challenges
