2 What’s the point of this?

Write first and last name on same side as sticker

Firmly secure tack into each corner.

Put on gloves

Paint has been mixed for you: 1 part Floetrol, 1 part paint, (mixed) and 1 part water (mixed again)

Layer the paint into your clear cup. DO NOT STIR

Between each layer add a few (not too many – say 1-4) drops of silicone to the paint.

Pour until paint touches the bottom of the inner rim

Hold the board centered on top of your cup (pins on opposite side from paint)

Very carefully flip the cup and board over at the same time. Make sure the cup stays stuck tight to the board while doing this!

Set down on the table, stable on the pins

Wait for a minute, then pull the cup straight up.

Allow the paint to spread on its own.

Help it along to the edges of the board by carefully tilting

You may have to pour a little more paint onto the board next to the edge of your pour Add more paint with a stick if want more control- don’t touch other colors with it though Let the colors run together, getting them to the edge

Use your own popsicle stick to pull paint down onto the edge of your board. You can even pull some of the pretty swirls of paint up off the paper on the side.

Follow the teacher’s directions for putting the painted boards away to dry Follow the teacher’s directions for clean up.

19 Check it out – as they dry they change!
