2. 1 Peter 4:7-11
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”

Sharing with others our home, our lives, our personal space and resources without communicating a need for performance or an expectation of return.

6. Romans 12:9-13
Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

7. The Gift of Hospitality
A special gift in which the Holy Spirit enables certain Christians to open their homes willingly and offer lodging, food, and fellowship, cheerfully to other people.

The special ability to focus their attention on their guest

The special ability to focus their attention on their guest
They deeply value community

10. Matthew 10:42
And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones who is my disciple, truly I tell you, that person will certainly not lose their reward.

11. Hebrews 13:1-2
Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.  Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing, some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it
