מודלס הן מילות שעוזרות לפועל לבטא משמעות שונה לפועל.
מודלס יכולים לבטא יכולת, אפשרות, מחויבות או רשות.
אחרי המודלס יבוא הפועל בצורת המקור.
זאת אומרת שהפעם לא מוסיפים אף תוספת לפועל!

מתאר יכולת או חוסר יכולת )בשלילה(של פעולה מסויימת.

Miri can’t swim well.
