1 Royal Leader Quiz Essay
We have discussed some of the different characteristics that we feel are important for making a good leader. In this chapter, we will study several different royal leaders of Europe in the 1500s. Your task will be to evaluate one of these leaders in essay form.

2 The Assignment In a 5-paragraph essay, complete the following:
Choose one of the royal leaders that we have discussed (you may also choose one that we didn’t that also ruled in this time) Evaluate their effectiveness as a leader based on your opinion and some of the different characteristics that we talked about Use evidence from what we’ve learned in class to support and explain whether you feel this person was an effective leader or not

3 Some things to think about
Some things to think about or discuss: Would you have wanted to have this person rule you? Are there any modern-day leaders with similar leadership styles? What was your leader’s biggest success? What was their biggest failure? How do they compare to other leaders of their day? You do NOT need to answer all, or even any, of these questions, but you could use them to help you write your essay.
