2 Continuous blood pressure
Definition Blood pressure Continuous blood pressure Normally refers to Mean arterial pressure (MAP) MAP can be estimated from measurements of the systolic pressure (Psys) and the diastolic pressure (Pdios) MAP ≅ 1/3Psys + 2/3Pdios Measures blood pressure (BP) in real-time

3 Why do we need Continuous blood pressure?

4 Advantages Real-time data More accurate use in clinical situations
Can track short-term changes with continuous blood pressure.

5 Advantages Reduce the influences cause by patient
Any physically or psychologically change will influences the measurement of BP when using normal method. It can be mostly avoided if the output data is continuous.

6 Measuring method Invasive
By inserting the device (Blood Pressure Transducer)in human body, this way we can get the real time blood pressure data. Noninvasive Can be calculated by the relative value with blood pressure, but getting a direct data.
