Pastor Michael Otterstatter, VP for Mission Advancement for Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN encourages God’s people to make use of every opportunity to use the Gospel. Students at MLC are studying to do that in future pulpits and classrooms. May young people consider becoming a pastor or teacher someday to do the Lord’s work.

Lord of the Church, send forth workers into the harvest field to bring souls into your kingdom. Lead young people and their parents to consider this field for their futures so there are adequate resources for our churches and schools in the future. Amen.

8. OUR COMMUNION PRACTICE
In the Sacrament of Holy Communion, we express unity with our Savior and those who share our faith and stand on the teachings of God’s Word.
Therefore, we invite to our altar those who are members of St. Peter or members of the WELS/ELS. Visitors who wish to commune are asked to speak to a pastor before the service begins.

Lent Services & Suppers Draw Near Ash Wednesday is February 18. Services will again be at 4:00 & 7:00 with church family suppers in between. Two dates are still available for a group to reserve: Feb 18th (Ash Wed) and Mar 19th (Lent #5). See Pastor D. ASAP.
