2 The object is Records of Guinness
* the relevance is that Guinness Records Book has become very popular * the aim is to explore information about world records * the question is why people have got involved in reading Guinness World Records Book * the hypothesis is that people have taken so much interest in this book as they want to be in the information about the world famous records * methods of the research: surfing the net, picking information in the magazines: «Prosport», «Amazing people», watching «Discovery channel».

3 How did Guinness Book start?
* One day, Hugh Beaver with his friends went hunting, and they had an argument if «a grouse is the fastest bird in Europe». Actually, none of them could answer that question. * Finally, they decided to create a book in which things which are unique could be registered. * Hugh Beaver was working in a brewery «Guinness», that’s why he called this book «Records of Guinness». * This Guinness Records Book entered our life. * The first Guinness book appeared in 1955 year.

4 The first record * In fact, the first record was “The tallest man in Europe”. * He was 7 feet tall in only 18 years. * His name was William Breadley.

5 Towers * The highest building is Kingdom tower. * It is 1 km tall. * It located in Jeddah.

7 PALAZZO RESORT HOTEL * The biggest hotel is Palazzo Resort hotel in Las Vegas * It has more than rooms and a huge swimming pool.

8 Food * The biggest hot dog in the world was 40 сm long and 10 сm thick. * The biggest pizza in the world was 40 m long. It was cooked in Italy. It took 9 tons of mozzarella.

9 Animals * The smallest horse in the world is Thumbelina. It is 43 cm high. * The fastest turtle is Bertie. Her speed is 1 km/h.

10 Most popular record * Making our project we have used Google.
* Google is in the Guinness World Records Book, too. * This is the most visited and popular site for searching for information. * The major part of the world information is stored there. * It’s a well-known fact 1 billion people visit Google every day.

11 Russia * You know that our country is the biggest. * It’s for good reason, that our country is in Guinness book, too.
