What challenge is immediately seen with fighting a war in both Europe & the Pacific? Not only does it take more boats, but planes, men and other stuff as well American industrial production was higher than any other country in the war Why? 50,000 planes… People supported the investment in defense

This offered incentive to increase production The more you make the more you make This also got companies to “voluntarily” convert to making war materials

4 American Industry Gets the Job Done
