Sport is very popular. It brings people together and unifies the country.
What would you say is the most popular sport in Nigeria?
Football is their favourite sport.
What sports are available to watch in Nigeria?
Nigerians watch basket-ball, volley-ball, table tennis, boxing, hand-ball, golf and tennis.
Do you get to see other countries ‘ sports?
They watch a lot of English football on TV and Wimbledon tennis tournament.

3. Which Uk premier football teams are popular in Nigeria?
Manchester united, arsenal and Chelsea are favorite English football teams.
Why do you think football is such a popular sport?
There is a big competitive spirit.
Does your school have physical education lessons and if so what do you teach?
Yes, schools teach football, volley-ball, table tennis. They have just began to teach rugby. The pupils are taught to use the equipment.
What sports do the children at your school enjoy most?
They love to play all sports at school but they have the strongest link with football.
