EnerJet combines the Liquid Subcision treatment with the Dermal Filler effect.
The Jet dispersion breaks the fibrotic strands, which tie the scar to the underlying subcutaneous tissue, releasing the scar and allowing the fibroblast cells to form a new connective tissue and new collagen during the course of a natural wound healing process.

3. Acne Scars EnerJet can treat all types of scars!
Ice pick scars are deep pits that are usually less than 2mm across. They extend into the skin, giving the skin an appearance of having been punctured by an ice pick.
This type of scars only gets worse when treated with chemical peels or laser resurfacing
Boxcar scars are angular scars with sharp vertical edges, and resemble the scars left by chicken pox.
Rolling scars are caused by damage under the surface of the skin. They give the skin a wave-like appearance.

4. Acne Scars Treatment process:
Filling level – choose filling level 3 – 0.1cc per shot
Treatment – Start at 25% and increase by 5% until bigger bleb is achieved (25%-50%)
Pulse on the deepest point of the scar
Number of treatments: 3 treatments, 1 month interval.
Review every 3-6 month to assess for maintenance session

5. Acne Scars Do not treat active acne areas.
The treatment of acne scarring does not always produce elevated papules. This is normal.

14. Evaluation of EnerJet treatments with cross-linked HA (Merz).
Two cases:
Female, age 41, Fitzpatrick skin type IV, acne scars are mainly boxed scars.
Male, age 30, Fitzpatrick skin type V, acne scars mixed boxed and ice pick scars
App. 20 shots on each side; 45% pressure, filling level 5.
App. 45 shots on each side; 40% pressure, filling level 4.

15. 10 Korean patients, each received 3 sessions at 4 weeks interval.
150µL, 70% pressure.
Evaluation: B/A photographs (baseline, 3 months after the last treatment), clinical improvement scale by two dermatologists, patient evaluation for pain and satisfaction.
Results:
all patient completed three sessions and were satisfied with results
Pain evaluated as mild to none
No side effects except transient spot bleeding at entry points and slight edema resolved within 48 hours.
