Students are known as “Sea Aggies.”

There are groups that SCUBA just for fun!
And there are SCUBA classes to learn how to research (study) the ocean.

Students to learn how to operate and maintain a ship.
Students study in class and on the ship to learn seamanship, navigation, and operations.

8. USTS Texas Clipper:
My Anchor is Good Luck!
Tradition: The Anchor
The anchor serves as a memorial to the USTS TEXAS CLIPPER. She served Texas A&M University at Galveston for 32 years.
Students can often be seen rubbing the anchor for good luck before exams.

9. The Sea Life Facility helps injured Sea Animals, such as turtles.
