2. MY ARTIST STATEMENT
I am 14 years old. I have played soccer for many years,
Also I’m a dance (tap, hip-hop, jazz and ballet).
I love hanging out with my friends, and listening to music on my free time.
People who inspire me are lady gaga, Eminem, and my sister.
Eminem has accomplished many things and gone
Through hard times but he still stands.
Lady gaga has many good life quotes and how to get through things.
I am one person who is very strong willed and I don’t let things bring
Me down no matter what people say to me.

3. EminEm
For my artist I admire I chose Eminem (marshal mathers) for many reasons. For one throughout his life he's had many obstacles, he's went through ups and downs living with his mom [who was a drug addict and alcoholic] when I was very young he had a daughter and had to take care for her but he didn’t have much work to earn money. Not much later his uncle (also his good friend) had committed suicide over a girl who left him, so marshal took in his uncles daughter and looked after her as well. Later in his life he found a girl named Kim and finally moved out of his moms house and married Kim. In his words she was a “spittin image” of his mom she did many drugs, alcoholic and was arrested for D.U.I many times. Marshal took the kids much later after being fed up with Kim’s behavior and went on his own. Just then his rapping career took off and everything feel into place. So through all this and battling his own drug and alcohol problems he still lived to take care of his grown mother and his little kids. After every thing now he still stands with his head held high and is amazing at what he does.
