2. Draw a centre line to divide the page in half

To begin with we will draw an ellipse or an oval shape at the top
Like the top part of a cylinder such as a pop can or a cup.

Draw a light centre line from point “a” to point “b”
Make this line 3 cm from the top of the page

Measure up one cm
Measure down one cm
Draw two curved lines one above the mid-line and one below

Draw a second set of curved lines inside this shape to show the opening of the jug.
