Ladies and gentlemen, I thank the organizers for the invitation to the MEDICA trade fair here in Düsseldorf and especially to this 1st International Conference on Disaster and Military Medicine and to have the opportunity now to present to you the International Committee of Military Medicine – ICMM The International Committee of Military Medicine is an international, intergovernmental organization that fosters contacts between de military medical services world wide and the exchange of scientific knowledge and practical experiences. The ICMM is recognized by the World Health Organization as international experts in military medicine. MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ICMM To be a point of convergence, to share knowledge and experience Member States Member States The mission statement of the ICMM is : to maintain and strengthen the bonds for professional collaboration between members of the Armed Forces Health Services of all Member States . to facilitate the collaboration between the military health personnel world wide, in operations involving international cooperation. to organize scientific debates, education and training for the global military medicine community.
