2. audience & Market Considerations
Cheap tablets targets the casual audience.
Tablet market is declining.
Goal is to maximize potential profit in a market that is shrinking.
One of the challenges of tablet design is the fact the market is dwindling in favour of hybrid devices. Mobile tablets still have an audience amongst those who read books and watch videos, but higher end devices are starting to take over as the market matures. Amazon’s success with its cheap tablet suggests there is a market for budget tablets, and cheaper parts means profit could be maximized if costs are kept down.

These parts not that expensive and in the same time the screen is big enough to suit everyone.

We use same RAM for both tablets. Reason we chose this RAM is because 2 GB Ram are more than enough for the purpose of this tablet

also headphone jack, chosen because we don't want a repeat of the controversy surrounding the iphone 7 and its lack of a headphone jack, and the headphone jacks by this company are of good build quality.

10. operating system The tablets will work with Android Marshmallow
Android Marshmallow would be the version of android to install and use. android is being chosen to keep costs down, and Android has the biggest market share of users, clocking in at around 70% of the market.
