6. Reading Strategy: Say Something
After Reading 3-5 Paragraphs with a partner do one or more of the following:
a. Make a prediction
b. Ask a question
c. Clarify something you misunderstood
d. Make a comment
Make a connection
If you can’t do one of these things you need to re- read.
While one person is saying something the other person is recording what is said. This is what you will turn in to show that you completed the task and more importantly that you made understanding of the text.
