3 Approbation POS: Noun Definition: the expression of approval or favorable opinion; praise Synonym: sanction Antonyms: disapproval, condemnation, censure Approbation-think of your favorite app. You probably like and approve of it.

4 Assuage POS: Verb Definition: to make easier or milder, relieve; to quiet, calm, to put an end to, appease, satisfy, quench Sentence: I do yoga to assuage my stress from school. Assuage think Massage

5 Coalition POS: Noun Definition: a combination, union, or merger for some specific purpose Sentence: The Avengers formed a coalition to save the world from destruction. If you break it down, the prefix co means the same thing as it does in combination. The latter half of the word reminds me of align. When two or more things co-align, they come together and form a coalition.

6 Decadence POS: Noun Definition: decline, decay or deterioration; a condition or period of decline or decay; excessive self- indulgence The Deca part of the word sounds like “decay.” Decay is a synonym for decadence.

Definition: used so often as to lack freshness or originality Antonyms: new, fresh, novel, original My 12th grade teacher was Miss. Hackney. She had an outdated approach to learning, and never did anything new, fresh, or original.

10 Hiatus POS: Noun Definition: a gap, opening, break (in the sense of having an element missing) Split it as HI+AT+US.....if anyone says 'Hi' on the way, we will definitely stop for a while.
