2 Statistics Ukraine has a total population of over 42 million
Of these, 7 million 783 thousand and 687 people are studying One million 490 thousand and 857 people are working in the educational system We have 15,002 kindergartens, 17,604 schools, 382 boarding schools, 940 vocational schools, and 288 HEI in total

3 Statistics Ukraine ranks 61st in the world in the level of GDP
40th place - on scientific potential 41st place - on the potential of the higher education system 56th place in terms of innovations

4 Statistics Education expenses: less than 6 billion US dollars, more than 5 % of GDP Higher education takes 28.3% of the money Secondary education accounts for 42.4% Pre-school education accounts for 17% Vocational education accounts for 5.9% of the total budget

5 Russian Invasion and Undeclared War
When the first team of the Cabinet of Ministers was starting its work after the Revolution of Dignity on Feb. 27, 2014, there was only $ 10,706 available on the unified treasury account (According to the Letter #10-04/67– 3992 from the State Treasury Service of Ukraine, dated 10/03/2017, this sum was 108, hryvnias).

About 2 million IDPs from the occupied by Russia territories of Crimea and Donbas 16 universities and 10 research institutes were evacuated from the occupied territories Ukraine lost 20% of the national economy

7 Violation of Academic Integrity in Higher Education
The students were provided with the following sentence starter: “corruption is for you …” and then were asked to complete the sentence with various options. Only 31% of students answered “crime”. More interesting, 20.8% of students considered it to be “normal social life”, while an additional 35.1% responded that corruption is “one of the possible ways to solve existing problems”. 78% of students believe that their colleagues pass exams at universities not through their own abilities, but rather through the utilization of different types of academic fraud. “Democratic initiatives” Foundation

12 Activities of the Center for Quality Assurance at KMA
Students survey on the quality of teaching and quality of the study programs and courses. Faculties member survey on the academic process organization and on the University management quality. Employers survey on their requirements from new employees and the KMA graduates in particular. KMA alumni survey about the quality and impact of the educational experiences at KMA. It collects suggestions on the improvements of the KMA educational process. Participation in the improvement of KMA study programs. Responsibility for academic integrity issues at the KMA. Gathering statistic information about the University performance.
