We need leaders, general supervisors, cooks and washer uppers. If you would like to communicate your faith to young people in any way at this setting , please speak to Steve Ingle, Dave Small or Hannah Dey. Gifting the Joanna Project In the lead up to Christmas, we are collecting together gifts to give to the women who are part of family of the Joanna Project. Things that would be particularly welcome are: Pyjamas (in sizes 8-10), Perfume, Purses Fluffy socks, Hair bobbles, Nail Varnish Fluffy socks, Chocolate coins, Body spray Please don't wrap anything and either pass things to Hannah D, Emma, Viv, Ruth S or Beth; or label them for Joanna and pop them in the Baby basics box. Thank you - these things are a real blessing to the women who receive them! Thank You Thankyou from Hvnly – Thanks to everyone who brought and bought cakes at the recent bake sale – we made £180 for Children in Need. Carols in the Park Sunday 10th December 4.30pm-5.30pm in the park. Please note that there won’t be a meeting at the Potternewton Centre on this Sunday. We always want to care & look out for each other as a community, but please remember that except for when they are in their designated groups, all children & young people remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times. After the break, Phil Hatton will be speaking on ‘Matthew 7:1-14’. We will take up an offering this morning. Welcome to Chapel A THIS COMING WEEK Tuesdays at 11am in the church office - a short prayer meeting with the staff and whoever would like to pray for Chapel A. Housegroups generally meet on Monday, Tuesday and alternate Thursday evenings. Please see notice board in corridor. Tuesdays - Totally Tuesday for Years 5-7, pm in Chapel All. Methodist Hall. Wednesday – WOW youth group for Years 8+ in Chapel Allerton Methodist Hall. Please contact Hannah Dey on or about any of our usual groups for young people. Youth Alpha The HVNLY's, CAYP and Meanwood Valley Baptist Church are putting on Youth Alpha starting on Sunday the 7th of January. The sessions will run on a weekly basis between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at Stainbeck Church. We would love for anybody who is interested in helping with it to come forward. This is a brilliant opportunity for the young people to learn more about Jesus in a relaxed, friendly environment.
